communicating at the crossroads
of faith and the environment

rooftop has been in the forefront of the Christian environmental movement. For several years, we has been involved in crafting evangelical initiatives in environmental stewardship, or what Christians are calling “creation care.” Pulling together the interests and concerns of two often-divergent communities—evangelicals and environmentalists—requires an understanding of and sensitivity to both groups. There are many shared values and a few somewhat opposing values; and sometimes the language of each group is so parochial that this “cross cultural” communication requires a translator!

In this growing effort to develop a community that has a different, and deeper, shade of green, we’ve functioned as translator, communications consultant, campaign director, and program manager.  As a firm, we have more experience than anyone communicating at the crossroads of Christian faith and environment concern, equipping us to offer communications and campaign counsel and service to Christian groups seeking greater involvement in creation care issues, and to environmental groups seeking greater involvement of Christians in their work.
